Great Ocean Road – Torquay, Apollo Bay, The Coast

The Great Ocean Road adventure started off at Torquay (home of Rip Curl)

Then it was a lunch stop of fish and chips at Apollo Bay.

The amazing Twelve Apostles are limestone stacks rising dramatically from the Southern Ocean. We walked along the boardwalk and enjoyed the scenery from various viewing platforms.

Loch Ard Gorge and Shipwreck Coast

Limestone caves with stalactites by the beach…

The stunning remains of London Bridge. The guide told us that there was a man standed on it when it collapsed into the sea. No one is allowed on London Bridge anymore.

This is one of a three part entry of our trip to Victoria, Australia. Other places we visited on this trip are Melbourne City and Phillip Island.
